JustAid has chosen its overseas partners with great care and has full confidence in their commitment to manage and monitor all projects. Although JustAid cannot 100% guarantee the success of any project, the way in which projects monitored and managed from the outset reduces this risk.
All our Partner Charities have fully audited accounts that are sent to JustAid on a regular basis. In addition, our Partner Charities are all government registered organisations and are committed to honest and transparent management of funds.
Every Organisation that JustAid works in partnership with must meet certain criteria.
These include:
· A similar commitment to the ideals of JustAid including that of community participation, and transparent accounting and organisational workings
· Well established existing links with communities and community based organisations
· Ability to run operations efficiently with a commitment to accountable administrative costs
· Extensive experience in the field of development and good track record of project work
· Audited accounts and membership to a government registration system.
JustAid also has a Memorandum of Understanding signed by all Partner Charities that clearly states each partners’ roles and responsibilities. This contract states that if there is any evidence to suggest mismanagement of funds then the agreement may be terminated.
