Local women living in Sukranager Village, a rural area of Nepal. How will my support help? Women are still very discriminated against in Nepal and have few opportunities to take control and make decisions in their community. This women's group has been set up on the initiative of local women living in this remote area of Nepal. They are currently involved in the organisation of various awareness raising and social activities. In order to run their group efficiently, they require some basic office equipment; a small cupboard, benches and some stationary for keeping records of their activities. Your support with this project will help benefit this women's group who are involved in helping to empower women in their local community. Cost Breakdown All items are bought in Nepal; to reduce costs and to support the local economy. All costs are therefore given in Nepalese Rupees.
