Young adults aged between 13 to 29 living in Ghorahi. How will my support help? This project will target 600 underprivileged young adults and children. The Discussion Series will run every fortnight for a year and will cover issues such as: HIV/AIDS, the environment, sports, education and careers, adolescence health, community development and leadership skills. This is a new programme and there has been significant interest by the young people. The sessions will be carried out in a public place where there is access for all interested youths and children. The programme will encourage young people to take an active interest in these important issues and encourage debate and discussion. These sessions will provide the opportunity for youths to share their own issues, seek solutions and deepen their understanding of the topics covered. Cost Breakdown All items are bought in Nepal; to reduce costs and to support the local economy. All costs are therefore given in Nepalese Rupees.
