Adarsha Higher Secondary School, Ilam How will my support help? 1,928 students are currently studying at this school. Adarsha is the only government funded secondary school in Ilam, and in order to continue their education, many students have to walk from their village to the main town. The number of students has doubled in the last year, following recent political developments. With so many students, and very little money, the school lacks resources. The library is intended as a space for study, but it needs books and furniture. Your support for this project will help to improve the learning environment for both students and teachers. Cost Breakdown All items are bought in Nepal; to reduce costs and to support the local economy. All costs are therefore given in Nepalese Rupees. JustAid is currently using an exchange rate of £1 = 120 Nepalese Rupees.
