Information display board for youth-run library Ref: 52 Where is this project needed? Dang, Nepal Who needs help with this? A youth group in Tribhuwan nagar, Ghorahi. How will my support help? This local volunteer youth organisation has set up a much-needed library. This library will benefit all of the community but especially the local school children. They have been reliant on the generosity of their local community who have been very supportive, however this is a poor area of Nepal and they have had to manage on a very limited budget. They are therefore lacking some basic equipment. Your support in supplying the information board will help the organisation publicise the library facilities and also share information about community news and any activities at the library. It will also be used to tell the community about new books that the library obtains. This information board will play an active role in the community and help ensure that the library users gain maximum benefit of this new facility. Cost Breakdown All items are bought in Nepal; to reduce costs and to support the local economy. All costs are therefore given in Nepalese Rupees. JustAid is currently using an exchange rate of £1 = 120 Nepalese Rupees.
