Construction of path needed for emergency access in busy rural hospital Ref: 172.00 Where is this project needed? Dang, Nepal Who needs help with this? Mahendra District Hospital, Ghorahi How will my support help? There is only one district hospital in this region of Dang. It is extremely busy and operates with just 7 professional doctors, and also provides emergency facilities for the 5 other adjoining districts. The hospital is lacking many basic facilities and operates on a very tight budget. One of the urgent needs identified by the hospital is to provide a smooth walkway in order to move patients between different parts of the hospital building. This project will provide a 50m route between the emergency entrance of the hospital to the indoor operating rooms and emergency wards. This will ensure the safety and comfort of the patients.
