This newly established blood bank is used by over 500 local people for blood tests. The centre is particularly vital for providing HIV/AIDs testing for the rural community. Outside of urban centres, specialist medical centres often lack the funding and facilities to provide people with important health care. At the moment, local people often have to travel to the city to get a blood test. This journey can be very expensive. The blood bank has skilled staff, but needs equipment. Your support will provide this blood bank with a computer, needed to keep records and maintain this vital health service. Cost Breakdown All items are bought in Nepal; to reduce costs and to support the local economy. All costs are therefore given in Nepalese Rupees.
