£20 Contribution towards a medical assistance project

Ref:  Me20

Where is this project needed?

Tanahu, Nepal

Who needs help with this?

Shree Karmada Lower Secondary School, Tanahu

How will my support help?

The Karmada Lower Secondary School is in a remote area of Nepal, and has over 800 students. The local area is very deprived, and lacks many basic facilities, including transportation and medical treatment. The school is funded by the local community, but depends on the support of charitable organizations. Many of the students are suffering from diseases, but the community lacks the resources to treat them. The school committee hopes to carry out vital health check-ups, and provide students with basic medical treatment. Your support for this project will help this community school to improve the lives of its students by providing them with vital healthcare.

Cost Breakdown
All items are bought in Nepal; to reduce costs and to support the local economy. All costs are therefore given in Nepalese Rupees. JustAid is currently using an exchange rate of £1 = 120 Nepalese Rupees. This rate is slightly lower than the Banks because it allows for fluctuation in the rates

Total Cost of Project = 33450 Nepalese Rupees
